Description
A box containing mining squibs. The label reads "The New American Miners' improved squib consists of the tube having an inner match coated or saturated with rapidly burning substance, and an outer match secured to the tube over the inner match. The match on this squib cannot be blown out. This squib must not be fastened. Be sure and cut the end of the squib off before using. Leave one half inch out of hole. Patented in Canada Feb 12, 1878, Aug 3, 1880, May 23, 1881. Labeled "No. 1" with two pictures of squibs.
